Questions about week of Oct.4th

Writing- what is everyone doing???
S.S.-could we take a couple extra days next week also for speeches b/c I won't get to finish by Friday
Fire Prevention-I am watching with just my class, Firehouse Dog, on Friday afternoon but if anyone of you want to watch it another day or Friday morning, it is in my room right now!!! (111 minutes)

Hey everyone,

Here's a recap of what we should be doing next week.

Math: 5 lessons (We are hoping to test on Friday, October 15th)
Social Studies: Keep plugging away at the Constitution unit. Start practicing speeches??
Reading: Start theme 2- Nature Walk
Writing: what are we doing??
Fire prevention is next week as well. There is a Scholastic News.

Hey everyone, This is just a test to see if we can all view this blog.

Just verifying:

Social Studies- Unit 1- LFS
Math- 2.6 or 2.7
Writing- writing process, binders, cap/punc.
Reading- Focus on Poetry
Spelling- Focus on Poetry

Also, this would be a great spot to post links and things for our Social Studies Units...or better yet, we can make a wikispace to collaborate. Don't worry Melissa, wikis are super easy and there is a very fast video for helping to use a wiki for the first time.
